In-Flight
All of Qatar Airways' new aircraft are fitted with advanced audio
visual ‘on-demand’ entertainment systems across all classes. Passengers
can choose to view a wide variety of in-flight movies at any time on
your individual screens. Passengers are able to create their own
play-list of music to listen to using up to 50 different CDs. There
is also a range of video games available. The audio visual system also has
satellite photos of the places they're flying over providing a good
birds-eye view of the towns and cities below. In the not too distant
future, passengers will also be able to send and receive SMS text
messages and watch a range of satellite television stations. For those
flying First Class on an A320 or A300 aircraft there is a range of up
to 20 movies on a personal DVD player. Business Class travellers on the
A320s and A300s, will be able to view a range of 20 movies on Sony
Watchman portable players. Both the DVD and Sony Watchman catalogues
feature the latest English, Arabic and Hindi films.
